These Arms Of Mine
Otis Redding

These arms of mine
They are lonely, lonely and feeling blue
These arms of mine
They are yearning, yearning from wanting you

And if you would let them hold you
Oh, how grateful I will be
These arms of mine
They are burning, burning from wanting you
These arms of mine
They are wanting, wanting to hold you

And if you would let them hold you
Oh, how grateful I will be
Come on, come on baby
Just be my little woman, just be my lover, oh
I need me somebody, somebody to treat me right, oh
I need your woman's loving arms to hold me tight
And I...I...I need...I need your...I need your tender lips

you are darkorange
#FF8C00

Your dominant hues are red and yellow... most of what you do is motivated by your need to change things and have a good time, but you've been known to settle down and think out a situation, too. You tend to surprise people just when they're starting to feel like they've got you down.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

Over and Out
Alkaline Trio

"Over and out", she said
From a hospital bed
"For what it's worth
It doesn't hurt don't cry"
"Over and out", he said
With a.45 to his head
"The war has taken everything from me
It's all I see"

So...

Run for cover
As fast as you can
We're fighters, lovers, enemies, friends
And guns and knives apologize for leaving you tonight

Leaving you tonight

"Over and out", he sighed
"Seems I've run out of time
Please tell my wife I love her more than life itself"
"Over and out", she sang
As the telephone rang
"There's no pain, no answering, no more, no"
So

Run for cover
As fast as you can
We're fighters, lovers, enemies, friends
And guns and knives apologize for leaving you

Run for cover and you'll find us there
We'll take out the anguish, make it disappear
With hand grenades and napalm flames, I'm leaving you tonight

Let this candle burn 'til you get home
Never forget your face, never lose hope
Tonight

Run for cover as fast as you can
We're fighters, lovers, enemies, friends
And pens and knives apologize for leaving you

Run for cover and you'll find us there (over and out)
We'll take on the anger, make it disappear (over and out)
With razorblades we're softly serenading you

[News article printed tomorrow morning]

Gotham-
A police raid in the warehouse district turned deadly last night when a joint task force of FBI, Marshal and Gotham PD were apparently pinned down by local gangs. Although details are sketchy- sources within the police department have said the officers were searching for Grigori Byko, enforcer to the Dimitrov crime family.

Byko is among the several criminals still at large from the Arkham break out last month. He’d had been hospitalized after he was declared criminally insane at trial, where he was accused of murdering four top lieutenants of the Maroni family, long time rivals of Dimitrov. Prosecutors also held beliefs that he was involved in the murder of several women who were found partially cannibalized. In addition, while in Arkham Byko was said to have attacked and seriously disfigured an orderly during transport.

Byko has ties to Georgia, and the FBI has been quoted as fearing he may prove a flight risk but also cited ‘credible intelligence’ that he was still in the country. The warrant served today was for Byko and several associates. Eyewitness says that the task forces entered the building just after one in the morning and were met with gunfire.

Several officers and gang members were treated at local hospitals for an array of injuries; most notably FBI agent SSA Dave Rossi who is listed in stable condition. As of publication, there are three confirmed deaths; one of which was US Marshal Ana Cantu… [cont. 4a]

#01 – Air
It was the stillness that terrified him about Dodd’s basement; how quiet everything- everyone was….

#02 – Apples
Ryan swallowed hard right before he lied; he wondered if the agent ever figured out he wasn’t fooling anyone.

#03 – Beginning
It was Salvatore Barrone who use say he always wanted to write a book; and he’d clap a heavy hand on Rossi’s back like a father with son. Dave remembered every word.

It's about time law enforcement got as organized as organized crime. )

They’ve been stuck on the tarmac for forty-five minutes, waiting for takeoff and no one speaks- no one really knows what to say. The details of the case are in that place between stark recollection and the damning aftereffect of forgetting. None of them mean to dismiss them out of hand so easily, but it becomes a necessity, as much a tool for survival as sleep and food. They have faced the dragon, slain it and now, a return to the castle. A victory cheer. A moment to bury the dead, and the knowledge that one day there might be stories about this.

So take this night Wrap it around me like a sheet I know I'm not forgiven But I need a place to sleep So take this night And lay me down on the street I know I'm not forgiven But I hope that I'll be given . . .Some peace )

Haunted
Evanescence

Long lost words whisper slowly to me
Still can't find what keeps me here
When all this time I've been so hollow...inside

(I know your still there)

Watching me, wanting me
I can feel you pull me down
Fearing you, loving you
I know ill find you somehow

Hunting you, I can smell you
Alive
Your heart pounding in my head

Calling me, Hearing me
I wont let you pull me down
Saving me, Raping me
Wont you leave....

Watching me, wanting me
I can feel you pull me down
Fearing you, Loving you
I won't let you pull me down

Watching me, wanting me
I can feel you pull me down
Fearing you, Loving you
I won't let you pull me down

Yes, it was Vivica's CD. No, Emily, she isn't 19.

1. David Rossi was born in 1956 in Commack, Long Island, New York. He grew up his mother Lisa, Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Chris. He supposedly has a half-brother upstate (or so he’s heard.)

2. He grew up literally across the street from Ray Finnegan. He can’t remember when they met but knows it was probably his fault. Normally, when they got into trouble (and yes, they got into a lot of trouble) it was usually his fault. Ray was the one more willing to take it on the chin. David never met a problem he didn’t try and talk his way out of.

3. He was twelve when ten year old Emma Taylor moved in down the street and entered his and Ray’s life. From then on, Emma called the shots. Ray and David were just enforcers.

Thirty years in the racket abrindled crew-cut and a silk-lined jacket And it isn't my name that brings them in It's a little girl just starting to begin It's her they're piling in to see And I'd kill that kid if she wasn't killing me...And along from the darkened and empty tables By the covered-up drums and the microphone cables At the end of the room the piano glistens Like bones at the end of a cave And I play a few things while no-one listens For an hour alone spells freedom to the slave )
